The world of hand modelling can get a little strange sometimes. If a hand model isn't threatening to put a cigarette out on your hand then they're claiming to be Kate Moss' hand double! So it's refreshing to work with a photographer who actually appreciates that you're 'normal', whatever that means?! I guess it's relative.
I've worked with David Gill regularly over this last year. As a hand model you tend to go from job to job so it's a real pleasure and novelty to work frequently with the same people, especially ones who work hard and still have time to have a sense of humour. When I'm assigned a job with Mr Gill I always look forward to catching up with both David and Dave, his assistant (yes really!). Check out some of David's still photography that I captured at his studio.
